Posting rules

Version of 4 October 2026

Simple rules to keep doberi easy to search and safe for making deals. Listings are checked by AI; disputed ones are checked by a moderator.

The basics

• One listing — one item, apartment, service or job. Exceptions: lots (“14 cartridges”) and the “Moving: everything at once” section.
• Be truthful: real condition, real price, your own photos.
• The right section. If you choose the wrong one, AI will suggest moving the listing.
• Post once. Do not post the same thing again — renew your existing listing instead; it is free.

Title and description

• No phone numbers, links, @usernames or email addresses — use the contact buttons instead.
• No caps lock, rows of emoji or off-topic keywords (“iPhone Samsung Xiaomi cheap”).
• No insults and no comparisons with other sellers.
• You may write in Russian, English or Georgian — we will handle the translation.

Photos

• Your own photos of the item or apartment you are selling or renting out. Photos from the internet are allowed only for new items in their original packaging, and only together with your own photos.
• No third-party watermarks, contact details or links on photos.
• A photo of the receipt is visible only to us — you can add it without concern.

Price

• The price must be real. Do not set a price of 1 ₾ to get to the top of the list.
• For job listings, the salary is required — at least the “from” amount.

What you may not post

• Weapons, ammunition, explosives and parts thereof; pepper sprays and stun guns.
• Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, precursors, prescription medicines, dietary supplements that claim to cure illness.
• Alcohol and tobacco, including e-cigarettes, e-liquids and hookah tobacco. Glassware, wine glasses and hookahs without tobacco are allowed, and so are bar jobs and wine tours.
• Counterfeit goods and brand replicas, stolen goods, found property belonging to others.
• Documents and identity papers, or their forgery; diplomas, certificates, “assistance” with sham registration or a residence permit “with a guarantee”. Lawful consulting on documents is allowed.
• Databases, other people’s accounts, SIM cards registered in other people’s names.
• Unlicensed financial services: credit, loans, currency exchange, investments and cryptocurrency with promised returns.
• Gambling, betting, lotteries.
• Sexual services and erotic content.
• Unlicensed medical services.
• Job listings that require payment from the applicant, multi-level marketing. We do not publish jobs abroad yet.
• Animals listed in the Red List, and products made from them.
• Anything prohibited by the laws of Georgia.

Review and rejection

Listings are checked by AI — usually within a few seconds. If something is wrong, we do not publish the listing and tell you the reason and how to fix it:

If the photos match another user’s listing or the price is far below market value, the listing is reviewed by a moderator — usually within two hours.

Limits and durations

• Items, rentals and jobs — 30 days; services — 90 days. Renewal is free.
• New accounts may post up to 5 listings per day during their first 7 days.
• AI assistant — 20 auto-fills per day; 100 for companies with verified documents; 3 without signing in.
• Long-term rentals: if the owner does not confirm for more than 7 days that the flat is available, the listing leaves search — how it works.

Jobs

• The salary is required — at least the “from” amount.
• “Who can take this job” is required and must not contradict the text. Do not promise work without a permit: a foreigner without permanent or investment residence needs one — under a contract and as a sole trader too; the exception is remote work for a company outside Georgia. Couriers, taxi drivers and guides (except mountain and ski guides) cannot get a work permit: the quota is 0.
• One vacancy — one position. Several people for the same position is fine; different positions go in separate vacancies.
• No money from applicants — not for training, a uniform, a health certificate, a visa or a deposit, and not for “paperwork”. You may not ask applicants to open a card via a link or pay the salary only in crypto.
• Requirements are about the job, not the person. No conditions about gender, age, looks, nationality or marital status. “18+” is fine where the law requires it (casinos, night clubs, night work), and so is a language the job needs.
• Probation is paid and lasts no more than 6 months — that is the Labour Code.
• We do not publish jobs abroad yet, nor recruitment for work abroad. Remote work from Georgia for a foreign company is fine.

“Looking for a place” requests

• A request is a tenant describing what they are looking for: long-term rent only (apartment, studio, room, house). If you rent out or sell, post a listing.
• No phone numbers, links, handles or email in the request text: the author’s contacts are hidden and replies come in chat. No advertising or agent services.
• You may not set conditions about nationality, religion, skin colour or origin. “No pets”, “non-smokers”, “no agents” are fine.
• Up to 3 open requests. A request is published for 14 days and can be extended once.
• You can reply only with your own published long-term rental listing in the same city: up to 5 replies per request, one per person, up to 20 replies in 24 hours.

Events

• Real events only, with a date and a place: meetups, sport, kids’ activities, concerts and shows, talks, workshops, fairs, IT meetups, food and wine. In Batumi, Tbilisi, Kutaisi or online.
• Dates — no more than 3 months ahead. A regular meetup is one event with several dates (up to 12), not a new event every week.
• Title — in normal letters, with no caps lock and no date: the date and time have their own fields.
• No contact details in the text. No phone numbers, links, @usernames or email in the title, description or programme. Contact details go in the “How to reach you” block: people see them via the buttons on the event page. The ticket link has its own field.
• Address — in the “Address” field. If you show it only to those going, don’t put it in the text or on photos.
• Photos — 1 to 6, the first one is the cover. No contact details, text on top or other people’s logos.
• Not allowed: anything that is not allowed in listings. Also: network-marketing recruiting disguised as a meetup; paid events where it is unclear what people pay for; advertising a product or service instead of an event — post a listing for that.
• Political events — the moderator decides, case by case.
• Review. A moderator checks every event and every edit — usually within a day. Editing a published event hides it from Events until it is checked. If an event isn’t published, the reason is in “My ads” → “Events”, where you can also fix it.
• Cancellation. You can cancel an event in “My ads” → “Events”. Everyone who marked “Going” or “Interested” gets a notification — also when the date, time or place changes.
• Limits: up to 30 open events and up to 20 submissions for review a day.

If the rules are broken

First time — rejection with an explanation. Repeated violations — restrictions on posting, then blocking of the account. Fraud — immediate blocking. If you disagree with a decision, write to support@doberi.ge and a moderator will review it.
